What they’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology.
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Battery Storage : BESS, inverters/PCS, BMS integration, NFPA 855
- Power Transmission : High-voltage substations, transmission lines, grid interconnection (ERCOT)
- Power Generation : Gas turbine generators, excitation, synchronization, islanded operation
- Background with data centers, hyperscale facilities, or large on-site power infrastructure (>50 MW).
- Knowledge of ERCOT, NERC reliability standards, and utility interconnection processes.
- Experience supporting construction, commissioning, and operations of power systems.
- Track record of innovation or high-impact delivery in power infrastructure projects.
- Perform hands-on work in all environments (heat, cold, rain), in tight quarters or at heights
- Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed; flexibility required
- Remain focused while working in hazardous environments, while wearing appropriate PPE
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs unassisted
- Travel up to 50% to other locations
